Describe method of needle insertion in WANT
Locate insertion point
clean skin with alcohol
Insert needle proximally at 15-30 degree angle just under the skin about 1.5 cun
If the disease is located distal to insertion point, change the direction of needle to distal
Retain needle for 20-30 minutes
