Jackie Sadi :
A
- physiotherapy :
- Bachelor of science in physiotherapy
- Physiotherapist
- Accept 120 people into program
- Started off in hospitals then opened up private practices
- In the 80s it was very cultural, go to school and get a job - didn’t get the opportunity to go “find yourself” and it was a “different time”
- Neuro rehab and geriatrics are huge and growing (activities and mobility) - the amount of injuries that happen in over 60 group, that age group is more active than any generation has ever been before
- Still currently practices in clinic and only teaches one course and odes research on the side
- Fake it till you make it does not work with medicine

Zach Weese :
A
- manager of governance and special topics :
- Work in sports at Usports (NCAA of canada) - national body of canada
- Student at western in kin, originally going into the science path, realized like leadership and sports management, thesis in leader character.
- 7 years at Usports: oversea our governance portfolio, policies and bylaws and rules of how decisions are made AND organize events
- Very dynamic area and definitely not a 9-5
- Sports management
- In sport you must be really adaptable, ethically sound, can’t cut corners, integrity got elevated to longer you were in the role

Steven Takahasi :
A
- new young professor under faculty of education
- Did Not go into teachers college till a few years later
- Student athlete at western
- It was years later that he developed a passion for coaching and teaching
- After graduated came back to help coach, was still training but got injured and ended his career, fell in love for coaching and teaching
- Applied for IS (bio and physical education) - after graduating took math and chemistry, that go this foot in the door
- Got a full time job as a LTO (long term occasional)
- Got permanent job teaching science (math chem and bio) and then now teaching full time phys ed for high school
- Grade 12 kin (anatomy and phys) and grade 9 physical education
- Coach at western
- Don’t have to have it all figured out

Jeff holmes :
A
- professor of PT and OT) :
- Had passion in anatomy, physiology, etc.
- Didn’t have the prereqs to go in to OT
- Took courses at university of windsor
- Realized that work wasn’t even work anymore, it was fun
- Went for phd
- Got honors degree, then masters, then PhD in occupational therapy
- Big plan to work clinically for a few years than get job as faculty member in OT (didn’t end up happening)

Erika Gray :

- Undergrad at brock, athlete and student in kinesiology
- Had dream of being lawyer, varsity track athlete
- Masters
- Always say yes to opportunities
- Wanted to have options available when she graduated
- PhD at university of ottawa
- Working as a faculty member in sports management at bishop’s university
- Found herself in leadership positions and really resonated with jim weese and the sports management program at western university
- Came to western as an internship, became passionate in the area of women in sports
- Still very early on in career
- Take risks and take the opportunities as they come
