PP: humerus, shoulder and elbow in same plane;
-flex elbow 90 degrees
-epicondyles perp to IR
CR: Perp to elbow joint
SS: superimpos. of R/U; Radial tuberosity facing anter.; superimp. of epicondyles; bony trabeculae; olecranon process in profile
*no elongation or foreshrt.
Elbow - AP Oblique (Medial Rot.)
PP: 45 degrees rot towards body (mediallY)
CR: Perp to elbow joint
SS: coronoid process in profile
-ulna superimp. by radial headd and neck
-olecranon process w/i olecranon fossa
-bony trabeculae
elbow - AP Oblique (Lat Rot. )
PP:45 degrees; first and 2nd digit will touch table when elb is sufficiently rot’d
CR: Perp to elbow
SS: Rad Head, neck and tuberosity projected free of ulna
-ELONGATED humeral
-Capitulum
