Q

What is a ligament , tendons and fascia

A

Ligaments - connect bone to bone
Tendons - connect muscle to bones
Fascia - Controls big muscle groups it is essentially continuous with tendons and it’s connecting all the muscle fibres togeather so when they pull , they pull on the tendon

Q

What is compartment syndrome and treatment

A

Compartment syndrome Where you get damage to the tissue but the real problem is running aronel the outside of the muscle is the EPI museum and in this case it has not ruptured leaving the blood and inflammatory fluid too whereto go it’s stuck inside the fascia - this causes hypoxia and hypoxia leads to even more inflammation The network effect of this is that this increased pressure is going to compress the arteries - if left untreated Can lead to necrosis

Treatment of compartment syndrome
Cut open the muscle

Q
