What is a Main Effect?

A

The comparison of marginal means of the DV of the 2 levels of one Factor, ignoring the other factor

What is the interaction?

A

Looks at whether there are significant differences between the differences between each of our conditions
If you have a really clear interaction you will often not have significant main effects
Run Bonferroni corrected t-tests to find out which of the 4 interactions is significant (p < .0125)
