> Takes charge of WE techs cell (Assess damage to WE systems & takes actions to restore them & repair them)
Briefs DCO & CO on operational impact of WE failures
Incident Board Marker responsibilities?
> Records Key Events & times on the DCHQ Incident Board.
DCMEO responsibilities?
> Same as DCWEO, but deals with damage to ME Propulsion & ship systems.
DCHQ WE Cell (Senior Rate) responsibilities?
> Provide ADVICE on WE Failures
DIRECT the electrical repair team to make correct recoveries after electrical failures are sustained.
DCHQ ME Cell (Senior Rate) responsibilities?
> Provide ADVICE on ME failures
Deal with damage to ME PROPULSION & SHIP SYSTEMS
Responsibilities of DCHQ Teams?
> Co-ordinating response of SM’s DC organisation to incidents once initial actions have been taken
Directions of specific isolations & emergency procedures in response to any incident
Advising command in all aspects of weapon, propulsion & system availability
initiating repair procedures
Co-ordination of Atmosphere control
Initiating & logging of ph. 1 & 2 DC checks
Receiving reports from compartment closed up at any station

> Checks the POWER STATUS of ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT in COMPARTMENTS
How can the SM prepare DC Fire Fighting teams to conduct themselves?
> Good Training in Fire Fighting Equipment & Techniques
DCHQ organisation to direct & support the fire fighting effort
Dedicated teams for specific jobs
Escape routes from potentially hazardous areas
First Aid Firefighters close up & be relieved by & to brief who?
> Close up & deal with the incident until relieved by Attack Party. Report to DCHQ to brief DCO
