A

Brothers Palamon and Arcite are imprisoned in the tower. Palamon sees Emelye and falls in love. Arcite also falls in love with her. They argue, but settle because neither can leave the prison.

One day, Perotheus, petitions for Arcite’s freedom. He can leave, but is banished Athens. He’s jealous that his brother can still see Emelye. Meanwhile, Poloman believes his brother will take the girl by force.

A

Arcite urges to Athens after Hermes appeared to him in a dream. He takes a job close to Emelye. Meanwhile. Palamon has escaped from the prison. They confront each others and duel. A Duke is instructed to decide their faith; both deserve to die. The Queen and Emelye intervene. The two men will be pitted against each other in a tournament, and the winner win’s Emelye’s hand.
