tries to resonate with people’s other underlying beliefs like their care for their loved ones to redirect them to a behaviour change instead of directly addressing their beliefs about their attitude roots

A

Describe the theoretical iceberg of jiu jitsu

A

1) Top = Counterscientific ‘surface attitudes’ → observable behaviour. For example: anti-vaccination, anti-masks
2) Bottom = ’Attitude roots’ → the underlying reasons behind these surface attitudes. For example: ideologies, conspiratorial ideation, fears and phobias
