It’s shredded and compacted into a plastic former, placed into a odour barrier bag, heat sealed and then stored.
Equiptment in the waste management space ?
A shredder and compactor operating panel.

System code for sanitary system?
What’s the function of the sanitary system?
1) SAN
2) Collect, process and hold sewage, grey water and ground food waste.
Discharge these wastes overboard.
Location of sanitary system tanks ?
They’re all adjacent to each other and located below three deck FWD of the STBD M Comp tank
There is a port grey water tank built into the port M comp tank.

Food waste tank
Sewage tank
Grey water tank

Raw sewage from heads
Grey water tank contains
Used fresh water from sinks, showers and water from equipment and scuppers
Sanitary tank contents
Holds sea water under pressure from AV&B system to flush heads.
Food waste tank contents ?
Holds food waste and contains no oil so that it can be discharged over board.
