Q

What is Absolute Error vs Relative Error

A

Absolute Error
- Mean innaccuracy, error
- distance from a given point

Relative Error
- Relative error gives a sense of the size of the error in relation to the magnitude of what’s being measured, which can be especially useful when comparing errors across measurements of different scales
- Coefficient of variation - measures the degree of spread in the error
- Standard deviation
