Niobe boasted that she put Artemis’s mother to shame in terms of fertility. All of her children were killed as Artemis’s and Apollo’s vengeance.
Why is the constellation Orion always running away from the Scorpio in the night sky?
He tried to rape Artemis. She set a scorpion on his head, he was stung to death and placed in the sky to forever be fleeing from the scorpion.
Acteon was torn apart by his own hunting dogs after Artemis turned him into a stag for stumbling upon her naked. What is this an allegory for?
How expensive hunting dogs were, someone may find themselves torn apart financially by their hunting dogs.
