Q

5 point scale FQ

A

1 = No. I can’t see it at all. Clearly, it’s a distortion.
2 = Not really. I don’t really see that…
3 = A little. If I work at it, I can sort of see that.
4 = Yes. I can see that. It matches the blot pretty well.
5 = Definitely… it looks exactly or almost exactly like that.

Q

Frequency Tables

A

Least weight: Objects not reported in any samples
Modest weight: Objects reported >= 1.5% in 1 sample
Most weight: Objects reported >= 1.5% in 2+ samples

9
Q

FQu

A

responses are less commonly reported
typically fit the location less accurately, but they are not grossly inconsistent with blot contours

Q

Determining FQ is not simply an intuitive process….

A

The examiner must refer to the Form Quality Tables to determine the appropriate FQ for a response

12
Q

What if the response is not in the FQ tables?

A

then extrapolate from like shapes and like areas found in the FQ Tables

Q

Terminology for FQ

A

Tabled = found in FQ tables
Extrapolated = good guidance or rationale for coding
Examiner Judgement = basically no guidance from FQ tables

Q

Mean ratings assigned Fit/FA to Form Quality tables

A

FA- ≤ 2.4 “Not really. I don’t really see that…”
FAu = 2.5 - 3.4 “A little. If I work at it, I can sort of see that.”
FAo ≥ 3.5 “Yes. I can see that. It matches … pretty well.”

Q

Extrapolation - multiple responses

A

Which are the important objects
follow the same procedure as a single
assign total response to the lowest FQ

17
Q

P

A

Popular
Objects seen most often

18
Q

How many P responses

A

13 from the CS Exner

19
Q

What do all P involve

A

H, H-like, A content

20
Q

P involves the ability to…

A

recognize what most other people see easily
