Pay masters and keep small sum to self. Able to buy freedom. Able to hire people because masters aren’t looking over them. Owned but work independently. Here’s what happens in the streets. Mostly carry people.

Street Commerce:

A

Selling things on the streets. Pay set fee to owner than keep the rest. Poor pay. Slaves bought from each other. Tended to be women. Could live away, but has to be negotiated.
