Differences between the traditional and contemporary sport structures:

A
  • In traditional the councillors become the board of directors, whereas in contemporary anyone can nominate for the board of directors.
  • In traditional, the council appoints staff or identifies volunteers suited to fulfilling a variety of functions throughout netball. In contemporary the board of directors subsequently employed the chief executive who is responsible for appointing all staff to organise and coordinate the sport in the state.
