3 kekurangan OSI model dibanding TCP/IP?

A
  1. waktu OSI muncul, TCP/IP sudah banyak digunakan dan banyak waktu dan biaya dikeluarkan untuk TCP/IP. sehingga jika beralih ke protocol suite lain akan sangat mahal.
  2. beberapa layers pada OSI tidak sepenuhnya terdefinisi lengkap. contohnya pada presentation layer dan session layer.
  3. OSI tidak menunjukkan level perfoma yang tinggi untuk berpindah dari TCP/IP ke OSI model.
