natural sciences
the natural sciences are divided into two groups:
life science ( or biological science ) and physical science
learning or literature concerned with human culture, especially literature, history, art, music, and philosophy
humanities
a method of procedure that has characterized natural science since the 17th century, consisting in systematic observation, measurement, and experiment, and the formulation, testing, and modification of hypotheses.
