Chemical Weathering
A
The break down of rocks where chemical changes take place e.g when acid rain slowly dissolves the rock

Mechanical Weathering
A
disintegration of rocks with out any chemical changes . Often results in scree at the foot of the bare rocky outcrops.

The disintegration or the decay of rocks in their original place at or close to the ground surface. Largely caused by elements of the weather.

A
Involving flora and fauna, things such as plant roots go into cracks in rock and expand.
