Clay - permeable-> heavily jointed and porous.

Chalk
Extraction - cement, lime.
Farming- sheep farming, some arable crops
Water supply- Aquifers
Scenery- rolling hills, variety of wildlife
Clay
Extraction- bricks and for pottery
Farming- sheep and dairy cattle due to easily being waterlogged
Water Supply- Not ideal
Scenery- featureless, not attractive
