Air Mass
A large body of air with similar properties.
Maritime Polar Air
Cold & Damp ; Humid
Continental Tropical Air

Fronts
Fronts are boundaries between two air masses
Warm Front
Warm air masses meet and it overrides a cold air mass.
Cold Front
Cold air masses meet and causes warm air masses to rise.
Anemometer
Measures wind speed.
Hygrometer
Measures the moisture in the air (humidity).
Barometer
Measures air pressure.
Rain Gauge
Measures how much rain has fallen.
Radar
Measures the winds and precipitation inside a storm.
Wind Vane
Shows where the wind is moving and what direction.
Occluded Front
A front formed when a cold and warm from meet and occlude into one large front.
