THe journey was 3 years long of which they have already completed 1 year. They were retracing the stems of James Cookand his voyage around the world.

the ship was named wavewalker it was tested in the worse of worse condition they could get hand on experience with in the British water . They had spent 16 year honing the skills required to make is a smooth ride.
How was the weather on 25 of December?
Large waves coming their way, it had become difficult to stire a way out but even after the new year they was no improvement. Actually things got more worst huge waves reaching height they can’t imagine. And the everything stayed still like silence before the storm, a humongous wave rise and turned the ship over.
How did the narrator overcome the water problem in the ship?
For the larger gaps he had used canvas and manual and electrical pums to get the water out. But later he found out that a small part of the ship is broken and to prevent he water form entering he had shifted the weight all at a side.
How did the children support their parent’s situation?
Though Suz was hurt really badly she had chose silence over speech to prevent her father from worrying and Jonathan had motivated her father by saying that he is not afraid to die if they were all together.
Why did Jonathan ask his father for a hug?
Jonathan asked his father for a hug because his father has successfully found the island and that he wanted to thank his father.
