What is the story “the birth” about?
The story is about a young doctor Andrew Manson who had helped in delivering a baby.
Why was Andrew mood off?
The main reason for this is that he had a bad evening with his girlfriend, Christine and started thinking about marriage and it failing rate his mood was shaken.
Who was Joe Morgan?
Joe Morgan was husband of Susan Morgan who was about to give her delivery that day. He has been waiting the Andrew outside his house in number 12 Blaina Terrace.
What disappointment did he face when the child was born?
After an hour of hard work, when the child was finally born it was a stillborn. The child was lifeless. His skin pale white his limb and neck seemed boneless.
How did Andrew save the child?
He initially tried a special respiration method when she conclude that the child is suffocating due to lack of oxygen which didn’t work. The he went ahead and tried the hot and cold treatment but had no effect on the child. LAter on he placed the child in a towel and rubbed his chest and did CPR that is when the child finally sprung back to life.
