What are Riparian Water Rights?
Allows a property owner to use water from water source such as a river stream or creek.
What are Littoral Water Rights?
Concern properties abutting an ocean, sea or lake rather than a river or stream.
What is Correlative Use?
Allows a property owner the use of underground water or water form a river for irrigation purposes.
What is Accretion?
When soil is deposited by the natural action of water and may increase the size of the property.
What is Reliction?
Gradual change of water line on a real property which gives the owner more dry land.
What is Erosion?
The wearing away of land and soil by the action of wind, water, currents or ice.
