When is the takeoff config warning activated?
Airplane is on the ground, thrust is applied, and one of the following:
•Flaps are not in takeoff position
•Flap position does not agree with the FMS
•Parking brake applied
•Pitch trim out of the green
•Any spoiler panel is deployed
What does the takeoff config test do?
Simulates power levers in the advanced position
When is windshear detection activated?
Between 10ft and 1500 ft on takeoff, go around, and approach
When will windshear not be detected?
If EGPWS or radio altimeter is unavailable
Will the autopilot disconnect during windshear escape guidance?
Yes
When is windshear escape guidance activated?
- Manually with warning or caution and TOGA is pressed
- Automatically with warning and thrust levers placed in TOGA
- Automatically with warning and FD mode in TO or GA
With a windshear warning or caution what happens to the thrust?
FADEC cancels any FLEX or derated thrust and reschedules to GA thrust
During escape guidance what happens if the pilot advances the thrust levers beyond the TO/GA position?
The auto throttle will disconnect
When will the ground proximity glide slope inhibit button illuminate?
- When pressed below 2,000 ft RA
* Will reset climbing thru 2,000 ft RA or descending below 30 ft
