Mislaid

Property-intentionally placed and forgotten.
Property that is intentionally placed in a certain location, but is forgotten by its owner; this type of property belongs to the owner of the premises where the property is found unless reclaimed by the original owner.
Lost property

Property-unintentionally misplaced and forgotten.
Property that is unintentionally misplaced by its original owner; this type of property becomes the finder’s property once any statutory procedures for reclamation by the original owner are satisfied.
Abandon

Property-intentionally placed and past, present, and future rights relinquished.
Property that the original owner no longer wants; the finder of this type of property takes title against all others, including the original owner.
Treasure trove
Right by Find
intentionally concealed older coinage and/or currency that’s forgotten.
Property consisting of currency that has been hidden for so long that the original owner is most likely deceased; the finder of this property holds title to it greater than all those except the original owner.
