Passive.. I think I was raised to adapt to any circumstance.
I think my parents raised me to adapt to any circumstance.
El participio tiene que concordar con el sujeto.
El monumento es admirado por los turistas.
Los bocadillos fueron vendidos por el camarero.
Las redes sociales serán utilizadas mucho más en el futuro.
The participle agrees with the subject.
The monument is admired by the tourists.
The sandwiches are sold by the waiter.
Social media will be used much more in the future.
Con la pasiva el objeto se convierte en el sujeto de la frase.
No se usa mucho en el español hablado.
With the passive the object becomes the subject of the sentence.
It’s not used much in speaking Spanish.
Usando la palabra ‘se’
Se admira el monumento.
Se vendieron los bocadillos.
Se utilizarán las redes sociales mucho más en el futuro.
Using the word ‘se’
One admires the monument.
They sell the sandwiches.
They will use social media much more in the future.

El uso más frecuente que se la da a la voz pasiva en españoles para abreviar y captura la atención en el medio escrito como por ejemplo en los periódicos y revistas.

The voice passively in the media.
The most frequent use that is given to the passive voice in Spanish to abbreviate and capture the attention in the written medium like for example in the newspapers and magazines.

Usando el verbo ser
John compra un libro.. un libro es comprado por John.
Yo leí un artículo ayer.. un artículo fue leído por mí.
Using the verb to be.
John buys a book.. a book is bought by John.
I read an article yesterday.. an article was read by me.
El libro fue escrito por Emilio
The book was written by Emilio.
La pizza fue cocida por mi madre
The pizza was cooked by my mother
Se establecieron las colonias hace 200 años
The colonies were established 200 years ago
Se hizo este pastel con miel
The cake was made with honey
Tú cambias la ropa en la tienda.. la ropa es cambiado por ti.
You changed the clubes in the shop.. the clothes were changed by you.
Yo recuerdo muchas historias.. muchas historias son recordados por mi
I remember a lot of history.. a lot of history is remembered by me.
Ese político favorece la corrupción .. la corrupción es favorecido por ese politico
That politician favors corruption.. Corruption is favored by that politician
