A

Descriptive term for a forearm pass. Your arms should be straight out with your thumbs next to each other. You should have a flat surface so you can contact the ball on the forearms (NOT THE WRISTS). You should have bent
knees and your feet should be shoulder width apart. In order to make the ball go further, you should use your legs and NOT swing your arms.

-The toss should be a step in front of you. You should step
with your opposite foot and strike the ball with an open hand, fingers spread apart. You should then follow through straight down the side of your body.

A

-Scoring method where points can be won by the serving or receiving team

Set

A

The tactical skill in which a ball is directed to a point where a player can spike it into the opponent’s court. Proper form would require the elbows to be away from the body, not tucked in tight. Hands at your forehead, if you completely miss the ball it should hit your forehead. Your hands should make a diamond shape (like you are drinking a 2 liter of pop). In order to make the ball go further, you should use your legs.
