Tap

A

Is a flashy style of dance involving quick feet movements. The uniqueness of tap from other dance forms is the sound that comes from each step. A metal plate on the balls of the foot and the heel create an assortment of sounds which enable the dancer to perform based on harmony of sounds rather than movement alone

Q

Rhythm

A

The natural swing or pattern the music expresses. In music, the rhythmic figures and phrases come from an arrangement of tones, organized according to their duration and stresses or accents. Accents is an important factor in rhythm. Weak accents help build the rhythm by creating anticipation for the strong ones. For example, we can easily recognize the difference of the waltz rhythm ONE two three ONE two three and a marching rhythm of ONE two ONE two
