Cat Foot
Round, compact food with arched toes.
Depth of Chest
Referring to the chest reaching to the level of the elbows (above, at the level or below)
Hare Foot
A foot on which the 2 center digits are longer than the inside and outside toes, creating the appearance of a long foot.
Hock
The bones of the rear leg that form the joint between the 2nd thigh and the metatarsus.
Stifle
The dog’s knee, the joint where the femur meets the tibia/fibula.
Arched Toes
Well knuckled-up feet
Forechest
Part of the chest in front of the forelegs. Often referred to as being “pronounced” (one that is very evident).
Griffon
Referred to as a rough or wire coated breed.
Prosternum
The projected front portion of the chest referring to the forechest
Sineway
Free from excessive muscle or fat.
