Diagnosis
Identification of specific disease through evaluation of signs, symptoms, medical background, lavatory tests, X-rays etc.
Epidemiology
Th science of tracking the pattern or occurrence of disease. Important in infectious diseases.
Incidence
A means of morbidity based on the number of new episodes of illness arising in a population over a stated period of time.
Interventions

Risk factors
Factors that increase the chance that disease may occur
signs
Objective indicators of disease that are obvious to someone other than the affected individual
Symptoms
Subjective feelings. Indication of disease or disorder
