-depigmented, macule, patch
What is vitiligo?
-chronic (long-lasting), acquired autoimmune disorder that causes macules/ patches of skin to lose pigment or color
Tx of vitiligo
-Topical tacrolimus/pimecrolimus (2 yaş üstünde)
-Topical corticosteroids
Larger lesions, more widespread disease, topikal tedaviye yanıt yoksa:
-Narrow band UVB phototherapy/PUVA
-Excimer laser/light therapy (larger lesions, more widespread disease, topikal tedaviye yanıt yoksa)
En son seçenek:
Monobenzyl ether of hydroquinone (widespread cases – complete bleaching)
