what is the purpose of visualisation?
Main purpose of visualisation is to focus on the characteristics of a bodhisattva. May even imagine themselves as a deity in order to become more like them and gain those qualities

Impermanence, shouldn’t be attached to anything. if attached to something will suffer when it is taken away

takes time to develop concentration in order to visualise
as not everyone has the time or patience. if you have never met one its more difficult to visualise them.
why may someone want more metta in their life
by having more metta, reduces suffering for yourself and other people so brings closer to enlightenment

Buddhahood is achieving the potential of enlightenment.
