1) heaven portrayed as a paradise where you spend an eternity with God - those who have led good lives
2) hell portrayed as a place of torment and pain - those who have led bad lives

1) Jesus’s resurrection meant that he had saved people from their sins
2) through Jesus’s crucifixion, he pays the penalty for humanity’s sins and restored Gods relationship with humanity

1) won’t be too sad after loved one dies as know they will be with God in heaven
2) christians try to live by God’s laws in order to lead a good life and secure a place in heaven upon judgement day

1) Jesus’s resurrection proved he saved people from their sins therefore will pray to Jesus
2) Christians will believe in Jesus in order to seek salvation so their soul is able to reach heaven

1) Christians will lead a good life following Gods laws in order to secure a place in heaven on judgement day
2) some christians believe in personal day of judgement therefore will do good actions such as donating to charities so they will go to heaven

1) will lead good lives in order to secure a place in heaven as heaven is believed to be a paradise where you spend an eternity with God
2) will not be too sad once a loved one dies as will know they’re in an eternal place with God in peace

1) help those who have lived bad lives to live good lives in order to prevent them from hell as it is believed to be a place of eternal torment
2) believe in salvation by grace as God’s grace gives humans the opportunity for salvation through the incarnation and sacrifice of Jesus therefore securing a place in heaven

2) Some Christians believe heaven and hell are not real places but states of mind. In heaven, you will experience and know Gods love and in hell, you won’t know God’s love which is suffering

1) Jesus’s tomb was found to be empty which further proved he was the son of God. “He is not here; he has risen.”
2) resurrection is important as it shows Christians that there is life after death which makes death seem less frightening

1) on the last judgment all of humanity will be judged and those that God finds acceptable will enter heaven and the rest will go to hell as portrayed by the story of the sheep and the goats
2) Roman Catholics believe in a personal day of judgment where straight after a person dies their actions will be judged & they’ll go to heaven or hell straight away

1) Hell is a place of eternal torment with no knowledge of God and his love. “they will go away to eternal punishment”
2) some believe that those who enter hell have been separated from God forever and will not feel any connection with him therefore suffering.
