Term used to describe viruses spread by arthropods
Ex: Flavivviruses, Bunyaviruses, Reoviruses.

Stablish disease in skin and latency in lymphocytes

Primary infection via saliva
mononucleosis is primarily due to the immune response to virus. NK and T cell proliferation.
