Q

Are DRIA based on individuals or situations and why is this important?

A
  • Situations! In order to be able to perform violence, what is important is neither your ideology nor your aggressiveness. What is important is your capability of creating violent situations. Which is what makes you able to keep adrenalin under control.

Q

What are the five kinds of violent situations?

A
    1. Attacking the weak (either a weak person, or a situation, hwere the person becomes weak)
    1. Audience-oriented, staged and controlled fair-fights (focusing on the audience, on being impressive, rather than the violence itself)
    1. Strike over long distance (seeing people suffer is difficult)
    1. Strategic use of deceit (approach the victim without letting him now, that you intend on attacking him)
    1. Concentrate more on the technical expertise than the the suffering of the victim (for instance what snipers does)

Q

Why is it hard to control the flow of adrenalin for a terrorist?

A
  • Like most other people, they are afraid. Afraid of dying and afraid of being caught or hurt.
  • Therefor the extreme left terrorists perform “vile” violence, which means violence towards people, who can not defend themselves.
