**2021 - **, Lighter vintage, lower alcohol levels, small crop, cool/damp
2020 - Classic, Merlot picked ideally, a little “ripe” for acid levels
2019 - Very Good, Consistent, fully-ripe, very good so far
2018 - Very Good, Powerful, deep-colored wines tannic
2017 - Poor, Major frost, lowest yields in 25 yrs, Medoc fared better
2016- Excellent, Quantity and quality very high, less intricate than 2019’s
2015 - Excellent, Healthy, uniform fruit, Ch. Marg. 100 pts, right bank stronger
2014 - Very Good, A vintage for drinking, frangrance, supple tannins
2013 - Poor, Universally poor, uneven ripening and dilution, rot, light wines
2012 - Poor +, Wet, late year, hot mid-summer. Wines lack depth/persistence
2011 - Poor, A forgettable year, low alcohol, high tannin
2010 - Excellent, Stellar, higher tannin and more freshness than 09, classic
2009 - Excellent, Vintage of the century? Lacks 2010 structure, inflated $
2008 - Good, Good chateaus did okay, rough down the food chain
2007 - Poor, Weak, “green”, rampant mildew, not enough sun, overpriced
2006 - Very Good, Classic, well-structure, drought summer/wet harvest
2005 - Excellent, Textbook perfection, marked tannins, over-extracted right bank
2004 - Good, Not massive but classic claret
2003 - Good, Massive heatwave, dry tannins, best enjoyed young
2002 - Good, Small crop, uneven ripening, rescue efforts but correct/cheap
2001 - Good, Varied, large crop, some good value on left bank
2000 - Excellent, Great consistency and balance, best value for many years
1999 - Okay, Hail for right bank, rain at harvest time, early-maturing
