Special VFR flights may be authorised to operate within a control zone, subject to ATC clearance, in this case the following shall be applied

Clear of cloud and with the surface in sight
Flight visibility not less than 1500m
A Speed of 140kt or less.
By ATC
During day only
Ground visibility is not less than 1500m
Ceiling not less than 600ft

Distance from cloud 1500m
1000ft vertically
Flight above 10000 8km
Flight vis below 10000 5km
VMC Minima (F)
Above 3000ft AMSL 1000ft above terrain which ever is higher. 1500m horizontally from cloud 1000ft vertically Vis above 10000ft 8km Vis below 10000ft 5km
VMC Minima (G)
At and below 3000ft
Clear of cloud and in sight of the surface
5KM visibility. (Can Be 1.5km when prescribed)
