Linear acceleration in the vertical plane
Key Symptoms for Meniere’s Disease?
Hearing Impairment/tinnitus, vertigo is severe and lasts minutes to hours, & nausea
Difference between Vestibular Labyrinthitis & Vestibular Neuritis?
Neuritis = NO hearing loss
Labyrinthitis = Hearing Loss
Is nystagmus named for fast or slow twitch component?
Fast
Patient is experiencing dizziness when placed in a position where the R ear is down, torsional and up beating present. Symptoms last less than 1 minute. Is this canalithiasis or cupulolithiasis? Which canal is affected?
Right Posterior Canal affected - Canalithiasis
Patient is experiencing dizziness when Left ear is towards ground. Is this Geotrophic or Ageotrophic?

Patient is experiencing Dizziness and torsional down beating when in position of L ear down towards ground. Symptoms last more than 1 minute. What canal is affected and is this Canalithiasis or Cupulolithiasis?
Right Anterior/Superior Canal affected - Cupulolithiasis
