This precedes all others in Biblical Study! It is the study of the process by which Israel and the Church arrived at those books that are in the OT and NT, and those that were rejected.

Historical Criticism (#3)
Often the place of entrance for most ppl who study the Bible seriously. Comes only after the first 3!
Hermeneutics (#4)
A term taken from Greek meaning “read out of”
Exegesis
Helps us understand how theological knowledge developed through the OT & NT. It looks at revelation as a great big whole.
Biblical Theology (#5)
The study of individual Biblical concepts and themes from many angles and grouping together in a logical manner.
Systematic Theology (#6)
List/show the order and flow of Biblical Study
