What is inherited variation?
The type of variation that is the combination of genes you get from your parents to determine your features.
What are examples of inherited variation?
Characteristics like eye colour or blood group and many other things that can’t be changed by the environment.
What is environmental variation?
The type of variation when some of your appearances are changed by the environment depending on where you live or your lifestyle.
What is an example of environmental variation?
An example is that what you eat can affect your body mass.
How are identical twins made?
When the embryo splits into two and forms two babies with the same genetics, which makes them look the same.
How can environmental variation make identical twins look different.
If two of them were put into different countries or had a different lifestyle, they could have a different skin colour from each other and even different body masses.
