VAGINA
Partly or completely covers the outer opening of the vagina.
Hymen
Are the structures which are visible from the outside.

Are four folds of skin, two on each side of the vaginal opening.

Is the prominence over the pubic bones that cushions the Symphysis Pubis.
Mons Pubis
Is a small, sensitive erectile organ at the upper end of the vulva homologous with the penis.
Clitoris
Is a small prominence extending out from the breast towards its center.
Nipple
Is a circular area of skin at the base of the nipple, colored pink in young but turns brown after pregnancy has begun.
Areola
Are 15-20 small tubes which pass from the substance of each breast to open at the nipple.
Lactiferous Ducts
Are the 15-20 subdivisions, each of which drains into the Lactiferous ducts.
Lobes
Are small divisions of the lobes and contain many branched tubes or ducts with enlarged alveoli.
Lobules
Is the space between the inner folds of the labia upon which the urethra and vagina open.
It is a boat-shaped fossa which
becomes visible on separation of the labia.
Vestibule
Are lobulated racemose glands situated one on each side of the vaginal orifice.
It secretes mucous for lubrication of the vaginal orifice and canal during copulation.
Bartholin’s Gland / Vulvo-Vaginal Gland
Are orifices just below the outer part of the meatus that run in a tortuous fashion below and parallel to the urethra for a distance about 1.5cm.
