VACATION 24 hours

**If a FF has been off in excess of 90 consecutive calender days due to illness, injury (occupational or not) and accumulates MORE than six (6) credits of unused vacation time. What is done with regards to the unused vacation?**

A

The are to be PAID OUT on Dec 1st of that year for ALL unused in EXCESS of six (6)

***you get paid for any credits ABOVE 6.

Example you have 10 vacation credits you’ll get paid out for four (4)***

When an employee has been off in excess of 90 consecutive calender days due to sickness, injury or illness (occupational or not) and accumulates MORE than two (2) unused lieu days.

  1. What do they do with respect to the left over days ?

**example you have 5 lieu days. Three over the two that can be carried over**
