In order to qualify for a Captains exam

a candidate must ?

  1. Have a minimum of how many years at First class ?
  2. Have served at least how many years in the Division PRIOR to the exam ?
  3. Successfully completed of what ?
  4. The Date for eligibilty of promotion and of seniority marks will be what ?

  1. have served a minimum of five (5) years as a 1st Class Firefighter;
  2. **have served at least two (2) of the five (5) years referred to in (b) (1) in the division immediately prior to the examinations; **
  3. successfully completed examinations and tests set for the purpose of establishing promotion;
  4. December 31st of the year of the examinations shall be used as the date to determine eligibility for promotion and to calculate seniority marks.

(5 years at first class as of DEC 31, 2021 for me)

For each FULL year AFTER the first 5 years PRIOR to the POSTITION APPLIED FOR of that test year. How many SENIORITY marks do you recieve on the final mark up to max?
