Interaction Design: model of dimensions by Gilian Crampton Smith
- 1-D Words, which includes the accuracy of words and also their tone
- 2-D Visual representations, such as icons, diagrams, and typography
- 3-D Physical form, such as shapes that call for interaction
- 4-D Time, for example, interaction content that evolves with time
- 5-D Behavior, including action, reaction, and presentation
Basic activities: discovering requirements, desinging alternative solutions, creating prototypes, evaluating desing

Information Architecture
= making the structure of infor- mation suitable for the user
- well-defined, appropriate quantity
- visible and consistend navigation
- search functionality
- how to navigate to the solution
Mental Modals = how a user believes a sys- tem functions.
Screen Design, Graphic Design
Screen Design: WIMP (windows, icons, menus, pointer)
UX: interactions in general and also the experience of a user before and after the interaction
UI: actual contact of user and product through an interface
Graphic Design: focuses on the visual element of the interface and how to create it (Iconography, typography, photography & illustration,
