usability = “the extent to which a system, product or service can be used by specified users to achieve specified goals with effectiveness, efficiency and satisfaction in a specified context of use.
pragmatic attributes: utility and usability for achieving a goal
hedonic attributes: product’s relationship to the user’s self, i.e., stimulation and identification
design thinking: human user at the core of finding new and innovative solutions through hands-on methodologies, empathize, define, ideate, pro- totype, and test, iterative process
UX Designers should stay flexible
UX Deliverables: Developers (Flowchart, Sitemap, Styleguide), External Clients (Pixel-perfect mockup, User journey map, competitive analysis report), Internal Managers (Interactive prototype,static wireframes)
UX Mindset: open-mindeness, empathy
Different User Groups: Age, profession, private or business, linguistic, cultural, geographic background
