Sulphamethoxazole:
-hypersensitivity (Stevens Johnson syndrome, rash)
-Infectious diarrhea (pseudomembranous colitis - C. difficile)

- interacts with probenecid (decreased urinary excretion)

  • do not give to pregnant females or children
