if >3 mths = urinalysis

<3m = IV abx
> 3mths = 7-10 days PO abx if upper (co-amoxiclav) // 3 days if PO if lower (trimethoprim)
imaging in typical
<6 months = USS within 6 weeks
imaging in atypical (no response to abx in 48hrs, non E coli, septic)
<6 months = immediate USS & DMSA + MCUG
6m-3y = immediate USS & DMSA
> 3y = immediate USS
imaging in recurrent (>2 upper, >3 lower)
<6 months = immediate USS & DMSA + MCUG
6m-3y = USS within 6 weeks & DMSA
