A
- Unopposed estrogen exposure
- Has good prognosis

- thickened endometrium (5mm or more)

Postmenopausal bleeding (90%)

How do you work up a patient with suspected endometrial cancer?
A
1) TV ultrasound (endometrium thickened >5mm)
* If over 4mm requires endometrial biopsy to investigate
2) Endometrial biopsy (for malignant cells)
- If positive: treatment
- If negative: hysteroscopy with fractional dilation and curettage
