Dual system of federal and state courts headed by federal supreme court, 9 members appointed by president
Electoral System
Single member plurality, president elected indirectly by electoral college.

Separation of power
President cannot dissolve parliament
Congress can overule president veto, can dismiss by impeachment, has control of budget
Party System
Two party winner takes all system.
Parties are not centralised and rather autonomous, party position changes depending on state
