Answer 1

For catheter removal:

• hematuria
• Obstruction (includes neurogenic bladder, chronic foley, and irrigation)
• Urologic surgery or catheter placed by urology
• Decubitus (to assist in healing ulcers)
• I&O (strict need for I&O)
• oN comfort care
• Immobilization due to physical constraints (ie fractures, injury) Doesn’t include dec mobility or confusion/incontinence
