Upper limb Flashcards
بسم الله توكلنا علي الحي الذي لا يموت سبحانه وتعالي علوا كبيرا سبحان من له ملكوت السماوات والأرض ومابينهما وما تحت الثري
سبحان الحي القيوم
The main blood supply to the upper limb arterial ?
Axillary artery
describe axillary artery
Begins as coniutation of the subvlavian arterty at outer border of first rib
and enters the apex of axilla and run in its lateral wall till reach ( the lower border ot teres major ) giving the Brachial artery
DIVISONS OF Axillary artery
3 parts
1st above PM
2nd deep to PM
3rd below PM
First part axillary branches mention
one branch superior thoracic branch !
arises at the lower border of subvlavius and giving blood supply to the upper thoracic wall
2nd part axillary branches mention
2 Brachches
Thoracoacromial
Lateral Thoracic
thoracoacromial origin and branches ?
2nd part of axillary artertty at upper border of pectoralis minor pirecing the clavipectoral fascia
gives 4 branches : Acromial pectoral calvcular deltoid
serratus anterior and muscle of chest supplied by ?
Lateral thoracic of 2nd part of axillary
arising at the lower border of pectoralis minor
Largest branch of axillary artery?
it is subscapular artery
third part of axillary artery gives?
subscapular artery
anterior and posterior circumflex humoral arteries
the subscapular artery accompanid by .. nerve >/
Nerve to latissmius dorsi
the subscapular artery share in scapular anastomosis and gives a branch named,,,,, thar share in it with it .
Circumflexscapular artery
anterior cirumflex huomral artery
turn over the surgicak neck of humerus from the front till reach the bicipital groove and give ascending branch and end by anastomisis with posterior circumflex humoral artery forming circular anastomisis around surgical neck of humerus
!
Posterior cirumflex humoral artery gives ?
Descnding branch anastomsoing with the ascending of the profunda brachii artery
Describe scapular anastomsiis ,
Connection between
first part of subclavian artery
third pard of axillary artery
the first part of subclavian giving :
suprascapular
transverse cervical artery
the third part of the axillary give
subscapular
cirumflexscapular artery
suprescapular artery
describe
It is branch of thyrocervical turnk of the 1st part of subclavian artery
dorsal scapular artery describe .
it is branch of the transverse cervial of tyrocervical trunk of firt part of sublcaivan artery
runs with dorsal sacpular nerve in medial border of scapula deep to levators and rhomboidus
Brachial Artery describe
Continuation of the axillary at the lower boreder of teres major and runs medially to the humerus then anterior to it reaching the neck of radius divding into radial and ulnar aretries
it is accompained by 2 vena comitantes that ends in the Axilaary vein
Mention branches of the Brachial artery
2M 2 ULNAR COLLATERALS PROFUNDA BRACHII
Muscular branches Main nutrient to humerus Superior ulnar collateral inferoior ulnar collateral supratrochlear profunda brachii artery
Superior ulnar collateral describe
b
Branch of bracial artery that pireces the intermuscular septa with ulnar nerve to be behind the medial epicondule to share in anastomsis around the Elbow
Inferior ulnar collateral artery supratrochlear
It arises from the brachial artery and divides into anterior and posterior branches to medial epicondule to share in the anastomisis around the elbow
the posterior branch perices the medial intermuscular septum to be behind the medial epicondyle
The largest branch of brachial artery
It is Proufund brachii artery from posterolateral aspect close to lower border of teres major
it runs with Radial Nerve betwenn to heads of triceps to reach the spiral groove of humerus
it terminartes as anterior and posterior descending branches
the asceding anstomse with descending of the posterior circumflex humoral artery
Mention Branches of Profunda Brachii artery
2M A 2TERMINAL
Musclar branches
Minor nutreirnt to humerus
Ascending deltoid
Terminal anterior Descending radial collateral
terminal posterior descending middle collateral
The descending of posterior circuflex humoral artery anastomse with
The ascending of profunda brachii artery
The termianl antreior descending branch of prfunda brachii artery describe
this pierces the intermusclar septa lateral with Radial Nerve to appear sandwitched between brachialis and brachoradialis in front medial epicondyle to share in anastomisis around elbow
The terminal posterior descending branch of the profunda brachii artery
This exit the lateral head of triceps to be behind the latral epicondyle to share in anastomsis around elbow
